Mercedes Benz Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink Activation

The Crux CAPMB-51 is an adapter that allows you to easily activate the OEM Mercedes Benz Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features on your factory installed Mercedes Benz vehicle without having to go to the dealership.

The Crux CAPMB-51 is compatible with NTG5.1 style Command radio systems and simply plugs into the factory ODB II port. There is no need to take the car to a mechanic or remove the radio. Simply plug into the ODB II port and the OEM Mercedes Benz features will be activated.

Once these features have been activated, it will allow you and your passengers to activate the factory radio features which the vehicle is in motion. Features include navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, MirrorLink etc. 

Important feature note:

The Crux CAPMB-51 adds an additional feature when compared to the original Mercedez activation. In addition to activiting all of these features on the radio, it will also enable these features to work while the vehicle is in motion (unlike the OEM Mercedes Benz OEM activation). Please note that this is only recommended for passengers to use.

Compatibility Notes:

Compatible with NTG5.1 Command Radio Systems

Compatible with Audio 20 Systems IF the vehicles production date is December 2015 or later. If the vehicles production date is November 2015 or earlier, then the vehicle will need to be brought to the dealership prior to adding CarPlay functionality with the CAPMB-51.

Important Note: The CAPMB-51 records the VIN number and status of the vehicle upon activation. Once the CAPMB-51 is used in a vehicle, no return or refund can be provided.
