Crux RVCVW-73 Rear-view Backup Camera for 2011-2014 Volkswagen w/ RNS-315 Radio
The Crux RVCVW-73B integrates a rear-view backup camera into select Volkswagen vehicles that are equipped with the MFD3/RNS-315 navigation radio system. This kit seamlessly enables the factory navigation screen to support a video input for a backup camera allowing for a safer driving environment for you and your passengers.
Installation of the Crux RVCVW-73 is pretty straightforward. The included OBD coder allows saves you the hassle of having to go to the Volkswagen dealership by encoding the Crux module with the vehicles VIN # so that the radio can recognize the unit.
Once the Crux RVCVW-73 is encoded, the included harness will simply plug into the back of the RNS-315 navigation radio and the included camera will also plug into the Crux module and then ran to the desired mounting location.
