The Crux SOOGM-16V is a radio replacement adapter that allows you to retain some of the important features that come from the factory with your original radio such as steering wheel controls, OnStar, and video switching. When GM built their vehicles, a lot of those types of features are connected to the vehicles data-bus and require the factory radio in order to make those features work.

Another important feature of the SOOGM-16V is the video switching capability which allows you to force the backup camera as well as the front view camera function so that it can be switched while the vehicle is in motion.
