Honda & Acura iPod/iPhone USB Integration Kit w/ Optional Bluetooth

The Grom Audio HON1I4 enables you to stream audio from your favorite portable devices directly to your factory stereo in digital HD quality sound. This adapter plugs into the back of the radio through the auxiliary port that is typically used to add an external CD changer or satellite radio. Because it’s using the factory radio features, you’re able to get digital HD quality sound, as well as factory features such as text display and the ability to use the radios buttons and steering wheel controls to change songs. 

The Grom HON1I4 uses a USB port to allow you to plug in your favorite devices such as iPod, iPhone, Android phones, and other various digital media players. In addition, this kit has an additional port that can be used to add the Grom BTD Bluetooth dongle or the Grom HD radio tuner. The Bluetooth dongle is a popular feature that allows you to stream music and phone calls via Bluetooth, just as if the vehicle came from the factory with those features enabled. 

Installation of this adapter is pretty straight forward. The included Honda/Acura specific harness simply plugs into the back of the radio and then connects to the HON1I4 module (brain), and then the included USB cable will then connect and get ran to the desired mounting location. If you’re adding the BTD Bluetooth dongle, that simply plugs into the bran, and then the included microphone gets ran to the desired mounting location as well.
