The JL Audio Stealthbox® SB-GM-AVAL/12TW3 is a sealed box with 2 12TW3 12" subwoofers with 800 watt power handling and is wired for 4 ohm mono. This setup replaces the factory mid gate while maintaining the folding function to allow access from the cabin and the bed. It's coated with a black textured finish and features a black steel mesh subwoofer grille included at no additional cost.
Please note that installing the SB-GM-AVAL/12TW3 causes you to lose the rear glass storage.
This is the newest model of the JL Audio Stealthbox® which features the new TW3 thinline 12" subwoofers which allow for a much lower profile without sacraficing the amazing sound that you would expect from any JL Audio product. Expect that clean rich deep bass without any distortion. Performs well at higher volumes.
Installation of the JL Audio Stealthbox® SB-GM-AVAL/12TW3 is seamless and straightforward. Using the vehicles factory midgate attachment hardware, the SB-GM-AVAL/12TW3 box is designed to seamlessly slide right into place without loosing its folding functionality. The 100% fiberglass box is a sealed enclosure and is coated with a heavy duty material that matches the bed of the truck.
